Description

This is the transmittance spectrum of a CaF₂ window with double-side AR coating (AR+AR), tested over the 3.7–4.8 μm MWIR band.
  • Average transmittance: 99.43% (excellent anti-reflection performance, with >99% transmittance across most of the range)
  • Small ripples/dips in the 4.0–4.3 μm range are most likely caused by CO₂ absorption in the test environment (not the sample itself).
  • Recommendation: Re-test with N₂/Ar purging of the spectrometer chamber to eliminate air interference.
