Sapphire Window

Sapphire windows are single-crystal aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) optical windows designed for demanding UV, visible, near-infrared and MWIR applications. With Mohs 9 hardness, excellent scratch resistance, high thermal stability and strong chemical durability, sapphire windows are widely used to protect sensors, cameras, lasers and optical instruments in harsh environments. Peoptix supplies custom sapphire windows with precision polishing, edging, coating and inspection according to customer drawings or application requirements.
